I'm on page 189 of 286. Now that I'm not having to make note of every frickin' *smart apostrophe*, I'm ripping through. I want it done and back for two reasons: to get on the schedule for release and so I can get started on the edits on FIRE! I want that baby back in ASAP so I can find out if the executive editor for the line will contract it. :)
I am a country girl, of sorts. I'm a born and bred Oklahoma girl. So I gotta like the strong cowboy types. At least visually. I listen to country too, but also metal. Go figure!
kira, i'm not gonna bother pointing out more coincidences - we already know we're related ... somehow ;) yes, silver, thanks for nominating mr. butler - me likey very much ! and somehow ... the bare feet add to the appeal - not sure why though, i've never had a 'foot fetish' before, more of a strong shoulders kinda gal :D
In this thrilling sequel to A Game of Thrones, George R. R. Martin has created a work of unsurpassed vision, power, and imagination. A Clash of Kings transports us to a world of revelry and revenge, wizardry and warfare unlike any we have ever experienced.
What I'm Reading Now
For Olivia Bentley, Lucky Harbor is more than the town where she runs her new vintage shop. It’s the place where folks are friendly to strangers-and nobody knows her real name. Olivia does a good job of keeping her past buried, not getting too cozy with anyone . . . until she sees a man drowning. Suddenly she’s rushing into the surf, getting up close and personal with the hottest guy she’s ever laid hands on. Charter boat captain Cole Donovan has no problem with a gorgeous woman throwing her arms around his neck in an effort to “save” him. In fact, he’d like to spend a lot more time skin-to-skin with Olivia. He’s just not expecting that real trouble is about to come her way. Will it bring her deeper into Cole’s heart, or will it be the end of Olivia’s days in little Lucky Harbor?

There is a much better description than mine at Jay Crownover's webpage. I just have to say, I LOVE her Marked Men series. Two thumbs way up! Three if I had them. This is a MUST READ for everyone who loves a bad boy with a good heart.
I've been an avid reader as long as I can remember. It started out with Ramona Quimby Age 8 and Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing and progressed into Sweet Valley High, Christopher Pike and eventually grew into Danielle Steel, Jennifer Lyon, James Patterson, Jennifer Crusie, Karin Tabke and many many others.
I am also a struggling unpublished author. One day I hope that my writing will be good enough to be shared with romance readers everywhere. I try to dream big! :)
Verra nice!! Trace and Toby-- sighs. Really like them. Who is the guy in the white long sleeve? Man he's a cutie.
