Calling All Black Dagger Brotherhood Fans......

I was on amazon.com searching for a book by my friend Silver James (Faerie Fate out in April 2010)and I saw a book without any cover art under my recommendations called: Lover Mine: A Novel of the Black Dagger Brotherhood. Anyone have any clue as to whose book this is? Is it John's book? Does anyone know? I went to J.R. Ward's website and the last book she has listed is Lover Avenged. If anyone has any insight it would be greatly appreciated.

Happy Reading!

  1. Hi Erika! Thanks for visiting my blog. I think I'm really challenging myself to read 100+ books in 2010, but I'm going to give it my best shot. Let me know if you join it, too!

Lover Mine is indeed John's book. Finally, right? He's been a secondary character for long, it'll be great that he finally get his own story! Plus, I'm getting antsy waiting for him and everyone else to figure out that he's Darius. Have you read all the prior BDB books? I just bought Lover Avenged in paperback a month ago or so. I should read that.

    Happy Reading! :)

  2. Hi Christine. I did in fact join, I'm very excited. Between what I read and what I listen to I'm sure I can reach that goal. I'm going to post about your challenge on Tuesday if you want to stop by, Mondays are League of Shirtless Men days. ;)

I am excited that it's John's story. I just love his character. I can't wait to see how it all works out. His love interest is definitely a unique choice. Have a great weekend. I hope to see you next week.

  3. Okay, I meant to say about J. Kaye's challenge. My bad. Sorry. :)

  4. Good luck with the challenge! :)

I see you have two mysteries/thrillers in your sidebar. Have you read any of the In Death books by J.D. Robb (Nora Robert's romantic suspense series... )? I'm hosting a challenge for that series if you feel like giving it a try. No pressure... just letting you know FYI.

I just subscribed to your blog via RSS feed, so I'll definitely pop by more often. Have a great weekend and I hope you get some good reading done.

  5. Erika, I'm so glad you're back to playing on the net. I missed you :)

I joined Christine's In Death challenge, but I think that's the only one I'm joining. I don't need any excuses to read more books.

I'm gonna try and get my hands on Lover Mine before the rest of the Internet gets around to trashing it. Poor Ward is a victim of her own popularity.

  6. Hey Venus! I pre-ordered my copy on amazon when I saw it. I don't listen to reviews. I love her work. I still haven't read Coven but it's because I haven't gotten around to it, not because I don't have the interest. Lover Enshrined, while not her best BDB story, wasn't awful and Lover Avenged ROCKED! I'm psyched for the new book.

I haven't checked into the In Death challenge. I've read the first four (I think) in the series. I might check it out and see what it entails, but I don't know yet. I think I may have taken on enough already.

  7. John's story. YEAH!! *does a happy dance* Love me some BDB boys. *sighs*

I've read all her books, including COVEN. ALL very good. Sexy, tortured heros. What could be better. ;)

  8. got me some catching up to do - not just on blog posts. (missed you gals) I've only read the first book so far. her writing was good (which surprised me as I'd been reading so many horribly written books) and I liked her plots a lot. there were a few parts that bothered me but hey, no one's perfect, that's why we all strive to write our OWN stories ;)
anyway I have books 2 & 3 but I'm shying away from them at the moment. I have a sinking feeling she's gonna cross one of those lines I REALLY don't like crossing. Will probably pick them up sooner or later 'cause, I really did like the story but ...

  10. Ban, I'm gonna be honest, she has crossed a couple of lines that I had problems crossing. I asked a friend of mine what she thought about the lines and she said to me "I'm believing in vampires and soulless humans. Sometimes ya just gotta go with it." It was at that point that I said, huh, I guess so and just rolled.
